Today, it was learned from the Ministry of Emergency Management that on February 18th, a fireworks and firecracker retail store in Zhengji Town, Yicheng City, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, had a explosion accident, resulting in 12 deaths. According to the "Measures for Supervision and Handling of Major Accidents", the State Council's Work Safety Commission decided to supervise and handle this major accident, and the State Council's Work Safety Commission Office, the Ministry of Emergency Management, along with the Ministry of Public Security and the National Fire and Rescue Bureau, formed an on-site supervision team to conduct full-process supervision of the accident investigation.
