Infineon CEO Jochen Hanebeck said that this German semiconductor manufacturer is well prepared to benefit from the thriving development of the future humanoid robot microchip market. "This could develop into a growth market similar to the high-performance semiconductor market for artificial intelligence data centers today," Hanebeck said. He also added that part of the reason why Infineon currently has the capacity to produce a large number of microchips for humanoid robots is due to its relatively limited business in the autonomous driving sector and its need for new internal technology research and development.
