On February 17th local time, the Pakistan military news bureau announced that on the 16th, a checkpoint in the Bajaur area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan was attacked by terrorists, resulting in the deaths of 11 security personnel. Additionally, the attack caused severe damage to nearby residential buildings, resulting in 1 death and 7 injuries. The Pakistan military news bureau stated that at the time, the terrorists drove a vehicle filled with explosives into the checkpoint wall and attempted to break in.
