Investors led by Blackstone will invest up to a maximum of $600 million in the Indian AI company Neysa.
A group of investors led by Blackstone Group plans to make a maximum equity investment of $600 million in Neysa, an Indian artificial intelligence cloud startup. In addition to this round of equity financing, Neysa will also seek to secure an additional $600 million in debt financing. The company plans to use these funds to deploy over 20,000 graphics processors in India for AI training and high-performance applications. Ganesh Mani, Senior Managing Director of Blackstone's Private Equity business, stated, "This investment will enable Neysa to play a significant role in advancing India's AI infrastructure development and allow businesses and public institutions to more effectively deploy AI technology."
