Iran and the United States are scheduled to hold the second round of indirect talks in Geneva, Switzerland on the 17th. On the eve of the negotiations, the Iranian side stated that Iran is seeking a nuclear agreement with the United States that would bring economic benefits to both parties. According to reports from Iran's Fars News Agency on the 15th, Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs, Hamid Bambi, said: "To ensure the sustainability of the agreement, it is crucial for the United States to benefit from areas where it can quickly receive substantial economic returns." He stated that the second round of indirect talks on the 17th will involve mutual interests in areas such as oil and gas fields, joint mining zones, mining investments, and even aircraft purchases. Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Lavanchi expressed the same stance in an interview with the BBC in Tehran on the 15th. He said that Iran has proposed diluting its 60% enriched uranium, indicating willingness to compromise. However, he reiterated Iran's refusal to discuss its ballistic missile program with the United States.
