Ninebot raised over $300 million in a new round of financing.
Chinese unmanned delivery vehicle company Jiushi Intelligent, which provides autonomous driving technology for end-to-end delivery, has raised over $300 million in a new round of financing. A source familiar with the matter said that this new financing was completed within weeks of the company's merger with Alibaba's autonomous driving department Cainiao, valuing the company at $20 billion. At the end of January this year, Alibaba invested in Jiushi Intelligent and merged Cainiao's autonomous driving department with the unmanned delivery vehicle company. Currently, Jiushi Intelligent operates two brands concurrently. Headquartered in Singapore, Jiushi Intelligent has also received funding from investors such as Ant Group, Blue Lake Capital, and DHVC. In October last year, Jiushi Intelligent announced that it had completed a $100 million Series B4 financing round led by Ant Group. At that time, Jiushi Intelligent stated in its announcement that its total funding for Series B had reached $400 million.
