Gorman: iOS27 will streamline system code.

Mark Gurman revealed several new details about the upcoming new generation system iOS 27 to be launched by Apple. This time, Apple aims to "streamline and organize" the system code, upgrade outdated applications, and fine-tune the interface design in order to potentially improve device battery life. Previous reports have indicated that the development focus of iOS 27 will be on performance optimization and system stability. This report further reveals three core directions Apple is taking to achieve this goal: cleaning up residual old code "fragments" in the system, making minor adjustments to the interface without major redesigns, and implicitly upgrading outdated applications to "improve operational efficiency." Gurman stated that with the comprehensive code cleanup work progressing, Apple engineers are also simultaneously working on improving battery life. Additionally, Apple will focus on upgrading AI features in iOS 27.
