The General Office of the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province has issued a notice on the implementation of "Several Policy Measures to Support the High-quality Development of the Biotech Industry in Heilongjiang Province". It mentions the cultivation and development of new foods, encouraging the development of special medical-purpose formula foods, health foods, microbial proteins, probiotics, plant-based alternative proteins, functional sugars, natural extracts, and other new foods and ingredients. A one-time reward of 2 million yuan will be given to "three new foods" that have been approved by the state and obtained a license.
