The central government has allocated 1.25 billion yuan to support the growth of winter wheat and promote its development from weakness to strength.

In order to actively deal with the production situation of late planting and weak seedling status of winter wheat, the Ministry of Finance recently coordinated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to arrange 1.25 billion yuan of central financial funds to support 11 major winter wheat producing provinces in carrying out relevant work such as promoting weak seedlings and strengthening growth. The focus is on providing appropriate subsidies for disaster prevention and production stabilization measures such as additional fertilization and seedling nourishment, in order to consolidate the foundation for stable and abundant summer grain production.
