Since entering February, 50 cities across the country that are piloting prize-winning invoices have successively launched invoice lottery activities. The prize money scale for the 9-day Spring Festival holiday will exceed 1 billion yuan. Recently, many consumers have shared the invoices they have won. Data shows that as of midnight last night, more than 300,000 invoices have participated in the lottery in the pilot cities of Chengdu and Luzhou in Sichuan; Suzhou in Jiangsu has had 296,000 participants, with a total of approximately 500,000 valid invoices uploaded and a total prize money of 10.2512 million yuan distributed. Reporters learned that some consumers were unable to participate in the lottery because the invoices they uploaded did not meet the relevant requirements of the activity. The tax authority reminds that invoices participating in the lottery activity have specific requirements for the amount of consumption, the payee, and the issuing date. Zhang Jiangang, Director of the Taxation and Technology Development Department of the Ningbo Tax Bureau of the State Administration of Taxation, stated that consumer personal information needs to be filled in on the invoice, and the invoice issuance date needs to be within the duration of the activity. The amount of each invoice participating in the activity needs to be 100 yuan or more.
