Google released a major upgrade model DeepThink, in which Tsinghua alumnus Yao Shunyu participated. Practitioners call it "alien intelligence."
On February 13th, Google released a major upgrade to Gemini3DeepThink. As a reasoning mode specifically designed for complex tasks, DeepThink aims to address many challenges in the fields of science and engineering. In multiple benchmark tests, DeepThink set new records, surpassing ClaudeOpus4.6 and GPT-5.2. The model achieved a score of 48.4% in the "Final Exam for Humans" test, and 84.6% in the ARC-AGI-2 test, ranking among the top 8 in global programming ability. Additionally, DeepThink performed exceptionally well in scientific fields such as chemistry and physics, even achieving a gold medal level score in the written part of the 2025 International Physics and Chemistry Olympiad.
