JD Airlines' first Airbus A330 passenger-to-cargo aircraft has opened its first international flight.

According to Airbus, JD Air's first Airbus A330-200P2F passenger-to-freighter conversion aircraft has officially started its international maiden flight and will be the first to operate international cargo flights from Chongqing to South Asia. This freighter will provide capacity for domestic industries such as textiles and machinery to directly reach the South Asian market, while also transporting South Asian products such as eels and crabs to Chongqing. It is understood that the Airbus A330-200P2F passenger-to-freighter conversion aircraft has a maximum payload of about 60 tons, nearly three times higher than the capacity of narrow-body freighters previously in operation.
