The meeting pointed out that chain catering enterprises have a wide geographical coverage, long management chains, and a large number of stores and consumer groups. Ensuring food safety in catering, allowing consumers to consume with peace of mind and eat safely, is not only the legal obligation of chain catering enterprises, but also the basic premise for companies to fulfill social responsibilities and gain social recognition. Although the overall food safety situation in chain catering is stable, there is still a gap compared to the expectations of the people in terms of food safety management and the implementation of main responsibilities.
The meeting required chain catering enterprises to effectively fulfill their main responsibilities, strictly comply with laws, regulations, standards, and other requirements, ensure continuous compliance in business operations, and ensure that catering food meets food safety standards. According to the "Regulations on the Supervision and Management of Chain Catering Enterprises' Implementation of Food Safety Main Responsibilities", establish food safety management positions based on the prevention and control of food safety risks and establish a dynamic management mechanism. Develop a "Food Safety Risk Control Checklist", determine food safety key tasks for headquarters, branches, and stores on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis, and promote precise risk prevention and control in the "smallest work unit".
The meeting emphasized that local market supervision departments should focus on key food safety risk prevention and control points for chain catering, innovate supervision methods. Focus on key categories, key links, and key areas, increase supervision and law enforcement efforts, and strictly and severely punish those who cross the moral line and have a serious negative impact. Integrate big data, artificial intelligence, "Internet+" and other information technology means to empower food safety supervision, improve supervision efficiency, and ensure that the general public can eat safely and with peace of mind.
Officials from market supervision bureaus in Shanghai, Fujian, Shandong, Henan, Guangdong, Sichuan, and other provinces and cities, as well as some responsible persons from chain catering enterprises, participated in the meeting.
