The President of Bulgaria appoints a caretaker prime minister.
According to reports from the state media on February 12, Bulgarian President Radev appointed the Deputy Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank, Gorov, as the caretaker Prime Minister. On that day, Radev met with Gorov at the presidential palace and authorized him to organize the caretaker cabinet. According to the Bulgarian constitution, the president should organize parliamentary elections within two months after appointing a caretaker cabinet.
