Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) issued a sci-tech innovation bond on Thursday with a coupon rate of 1.69%, the lowest in the history of domestic bond issuance for the company.

CATL announced on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange that on February 11, after online inquiries from the issuer and the lead underwriter, the final bond issuance rate for the technology innovation company bonds aimed at professional investors was determined to be 1.69%. Data shows that this rate is the lowest since the company's domestic bond issuance record in 2019.
