The public service resources of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei will be jointly built and shared.
At a press conference held by the State Council Information Office today, officials from the National Development and Reform Commission introduced the "Coordinated Spatial Planning for Modern Capital Metropolitan Area," which was recently released, clarifying the key tasks for further deepening cooperation in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Wang Changlin, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated that the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region should take the adjacent inter-provincial areas as the "breakthrough point," fully leverage the demonstration role of cross-border areas such as Beijing's Tongzhou District and the North Three Counties of Langfang in Hebei Province, as well as the Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone, to achieve integrated and high-quality development. It is necessary to establish an "innovation and industry cooperation line," promote the deep integration of the innovation chain and industrial chain, develop new productivity according to local conditions, and build an advanced manufacturing cluster in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It is important to expand the "coverage" of coordinated development, strengthen the integrated protection and systematic governance of mountains, waters, forests, fields, lakes, grasslands, and deserts, coordinate the construction of a resilient spatial pattern, and promote the joint construction and sharing of public service resources in education, healthcare, elderly care, and childcare.
