Today, the State Administration for Market Regulation released the "Guidelines for Compliance with Pricing Behavior in the Automobile Industry" in order to implement the Party Central Committee and the State Council's deployment to rectify "inward-looking" competition decisions, further regulate pricing behavior in the automobile industry, and promote healthy and orderly development of the automobile market. The automobile industry is an important pillar of the national economy, with a long industrial chain and wide coverage, closely related to the lives of consumers. Currently, the automobile industry has illegal behaviors such as failure to clearly mark prices as required and price fraud, which harm the interests of consumers and operators, disrupt the market order of fair competition, and are not conducive to the high-quality development of the industry. The "Guidelines" are based on the current development of the automobile industry, further clarifying the boundaries of behavior, unifying regulatory rules, guiding automobile production and sales enterprises to operate in compliance with laws and regulations, and promoting the formation of a market order with high quality, fair price, and benign competition.
