The Montreal-based airline announced on Wednesday that these new aircraft will be Airbus A350-1000 wide-body planes. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2030. This order is part of Air Canada's broader fleet expansion plan. Chief Financial Officer John Di Bert said, "This order is another step towards modernizing our fleet and aligns with our capital allocation priorities."
