The Deutsche Boerse acquires the 20% stake in ISS Stoxx held by the Pan-Atlantic Investment Group.

Deutsche Brse will acquire the remaining stake in ISS Stoxx held by the Pan-Atlantic Investment Group in two batches totaling 1.1 billion euros. The first payment of 731 million euros will be made this month, with the second payment to follow next month. Deutsche Brse will finance the transaction through existing cash and debt. In the first year of full ownership, it is expected that the transaction will result in a slight increase in cash earnings per share for Deutsche Brse. According to the cooperation agreement, if an IPO is not feasible, the Pan-Atlantic Investment Group may sell its shares to Deutsche Brse.
