The State Council Information Office held a press conference to announce that the Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with 9 other departments, will be organizing the "Happy Spring Shopping" special activities during this year's Spring Festival holiday. They will be giving consumers "Spring Festival gifts" of real gold and silver. Currently, a total of 20.5 billion yuan has been allocated nationwide to directly benefit consumers through the distribution of shopping vouchers, subsidies, red envelopes, and other forms of assistance during the 9-day holiday period.
