Boston Dynamics CEO resigns
Boston Dynamics, known for its quadruped robots and humanoid robots, is a robot company headquartered in Massachusetts that is currently undergoing changes in leadership. According to industry media A3, Robert Playter announced in an internal memo on Tuesday that he will step down as CEO of the company. During the search for a successor, Chief Financial Officer Amanda MacMaster will temporarily assume the top position. Playter took over the management of Boston Dynamics from founder Marc Raibert in 2020. He has been with the company for 30 years, previously holding positions such as Vice President of Engineering and Chief Operating Officer.
