By the end of 2025, Japan's national debt will reach 134.2 trillion yen, reaching a new historical high.

The Ministry of Finance of Japan announced on February 10th that by the end of 2025, the total national debt of Japan, including government bonds, loans, and government short-term securities, reached 1,342.172 trillion yen, an increase of 24.5355 trillion yen from the end of 2024, reaching a historical high.
