Bank loans "start the year with a bang" with local key industries as the main focus of investment.
Since 2026, listed banks have been receiving intensive institutional research, with small and medium-sized banks in economically developed coastal areas being the key objects of research. As of February 9, 13 listed banks have received a total of 54 institutional research visits, involving 386 institutions. Securities Times reporters noticed that the key topics of institutional research include the performance of credit "New Year's Day" in 2026, the "15th Five-Year Plan", asset-liability management, and wealth management. Several securities analysts who conducted research stated that in the first year of the "15th Five-Year Plan", banks had a good performance in credit "New Year's Day", and were actively developing wealth management and other intermediary businesses. It is worth mentioning that in terms of credit allocation, each bank has combined regional strategies with its own characteristics, clearly defined key focus areas, and a clear credit allocation structure with emphasis on both corporate and retail sectors. In terms of credit allocation focus, listed banks generally increase related lending in line with local industries.
