This year, Qinghai Province plans to retrofit over 300 old elevators.

On February 9th, the provincial housing and urban-rural construction work conference was held in Xining. Reporters learned from the meeting that in 2026, Qinghai plans to implement the construction and transformation of "two-tier" urban underground pipe network corridors, update more than 300 old residential elevators, renovate 27,000 sets of old urban communities, renovate more than 1,200 sets of urban dangerous and old houses, and implement 150 projects for beautiful rural construction, in order to better coordinate the well-being of the people and stabilize growth.
