Samsung plans to start mass production of the HBM4 chip this month, supplying it to NVIDIA for their next-generation AI accelerator Vera Rubin. Reports suggest that this chip offers a 22% improvement in processing speed compared to the previous generation HBM3E, with a data transfer rate of up to 11.7 Gbps.
