Recall number S2026M0017I: Starting from now, a total of 246,229 ES8, ES6, and EC6 pure electric vehicles produced between March 16, 2018 and January 16, 2023 will be recalled. Some vehicles within the scope of this recall may experience temporary black screens on the instrument panel and central screen under specific conditions due to software issues, during which necessary vehicle information and functionality may not be provided to the driver, posing a safety hazard. Shanghai NIO Automobile Co., Ltd. will upgrade the software to Aspen 3.5.6, Alder 2.1.0, or higher versions for the recalled vehicles free of charge using remote upgrade technology. For vehicles that cannot be upgraded via OTA technology, NIO service centers will contact the relevant users to carry out the recall to eliminate safety hazards.
