Maersk orders 8 large container ships from Chinese shipbuilders.

Shipping company Maersk announced on Monday that it has signed an order for eight large container ships with Jiangsu private shipbuilder New Times Shipbuilding, and plans to deliver them between 2029 and 2030. It is reported that these ships are 366 meters long and 58.6 meters wide, which are more compact than the current longest 400-meter container ships.
