Chen Maobo: Hong Kong should seize the opportunities of the 15th Five-Year Plan and actively integrate into the national development.

The Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Paul Chan Mo-po, stated today that the "14th Five-Year Plan" provides a clear direction for the next stage of development in Hong Kong. Under the leadership of the SAR Government, different departments and public institutions are actively collaborating to accelerate the cultivation of new productive forces in Hong Kong. Whether it is supporting mainland innovative enterprises to expand overseas, attracting them to establish research centers in Hong Kong, or promoting target enterprises to gather in Hong Kong, the results are gradually emerging. For example, the introduction of key business offices has attracted over 100 enterprises to settle in Hong Kong in the past 3 years, with an expected investment of over HK$60 billion. Chan Mo-po emphasized that the SAR Government will seize the opportunities brought by the "14th Five-Year Plan" more actively integrate and serve the overall development of the country, promote the deep integration of scientific and industrial innovation, further strengthen the connection between science and industry, and push the economy towards high-quality, high value-added, and diversified direction.
