The latest calculations show that by 2025, the ratio of total social logistics costs to GDP in China will further decrease to 13.9%, reaching the lowest level ever recorded. The transportation structure continues to optimize, with the promotion of "road to water" and "road to rail" accelerating, leading to improvements in comprehensive transportation efficiency and reductions in logistics costs. By 2025, the proportion of waterway freight turnover will continue to exceed 50%; the volume of combined transportation of national railway and road will increase by over 130% compared to the previous year. Bulk commodities and long-distance transportation are shifting to more cost-effective and environmentally friendly methods, significantly reducing the costs of trunk transportation. Logistics and manufacturing industries are linked, working together to reduce costs and increase efficiency. In Wuhu, Anhui, the national logistics hub is closely connected to the intelligent automobile industry park, with an average of 1.5 cars being transported out every minute; in Foshan, Guangdong, the national logistics hub directly connects to the home appliances industry cluster, sending products to over 220 countries and regions worldwide. Currently, 181 national logistics hubs are interconnected with industrial belts, commercial markets, and other facilities, leading to the development of large-scale and specialized transportation services, lowering the overall logistics costs of the industry chain. The development of digital logistics is accelerating efficiency. So far, the automated sorting centers of key express delivery enterprises across the country have achieved basic coverage.
