Brain-computer interface has made new progress, and many concept stocks have fallen into a "deep pit".
According to China Daily website, recently, Chang Honglong and Ji Bowen's research team at Northwestern Polytechnical University announced a breakthrough in the development of a three-dimensional conical carbon-based flexible cortex electrode array. They successfully solved core problems that have long restricted the industry's development, such as brain tissue damage, signal attenuation, and poor biocompatibility. They also completed the first international space environment technology verification, opening up a new path for the clinical transformation and aerospace applications of brain-machine interfaces, demonstrating China's top innovative strength in the field of microelectromechanical systems. Earlier this year, Elon Musk announced through social media that his brain-machine interface company Neuralink plans to achieve mass production of brain-machine interface devices by 2026. This move ignited the concept of brain-machine interfaces in the A-share market, but soon concept stocks fell into a large-scale adjustment. Securities Times Databao statistics show that as of the close on February 6, compared to the year's high, 14 concept stocks of brain-machine interfaces have retreated by more than 20%, including Haige Communication, Purito, Xiangyu Medical, Botuo Biology, and Sanbo Brain Science.
