Journalists learned from the National Energy Administration that since the 14th Five-Year Plan, China has continued to promote the deep integration of new generation information technology with the coal industry, achieving a breakthrough in the intelligent construction of coal mines and successfully realizing the triple effects of reducing labor, increasing safety, and improving efficiency. By the end of 2025, a total of 1066 intelligent coal mines had been built nationwide, with intelligent production capacity accounting for over 65%. The intelligent construction of coal mines is deepening, with technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, industrial Internet of Things, and intelligent equipment being deeply integrated with coal development technology.
