On February 6th, a reporter from Economic Daily News learned from Wuliangye's strong aroma distributors and terminal stores that Sichuan Wuliangye Liquor Co., Ltd. has notified that starting from March 1, 2026, the collection service for the second generation Wuliang Chun series of liquor will be terminated. Bottle caps scanned after March 1, 2026 will no longer be accepted for recycling. At the same time, distributors, terminal stores, and consumers are reminded to exchange the bottles that meet the recycling conditions and have been scanned before March 25, 2026. Exchanges will not be possible after the deadline. When contacted for verification, a Wuliangye company spokesperson confirmed, "The notice was not officially released by the company, but the policy information is accurate. This change is a normal transition in brand market policy."
