Explosion in Pakistan capital kills 31, multiple hospitals declare state of emergency

A Pakistani official said that an explosion earlier in the day at a mosque in the capital Islamabad has resulted in 31 deaths and over 100 people injured. In addition, several comprehensive clinics, medical research institutes, and some hospitals in Islamabad have declared a state of emergency.
