Today, the Hainan Provincial Information Office held a press conference to introduce the "zero tariff" policy for imported goods consumed by residents of Hainan Free Trade Port, and answered questions from journalists. Cao Ming, Deputy Director of Haikou Customs and spokesperson, stated that in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the "zero tariff" policy for imported goods consumed by residents on the island, customs has been steadily advancing various aspects of work, such as improving institutional safeguards, optimizing supervision models, and providing quality services, to ensure that the policy is implemented smoothly and orderly.
