Guangdong: By 2025, the scale of the core artificial intelligence industry is expected to reach 300 billion yuan.

On February 6, the Information Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province held a series of themed press conferences on the achievements of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for Guangdong. Zhu Wei, Deputy Director of the Development and Reform Commission of Guangdong Province and Executive Deputy Director of the Provincial Greater Bay Area Office, stated that by 2025, the province's integrated circuit output is expected to reach 94.24 billion units, a 152% increase compared to 2020. The core industry scale of artificial intelligence is estimated to reach 300 billion yuan by 2025. In the same year, the output of civilian drones in the province is expected to grow by 39% year-on-year, accounting for over 90% of the national total.
