Former party committee member and vice president of the Bank of China, Lin Jingzhen, was expelled from the party for serious violations of discipline and laws.

Approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission are conducting a investigation into the serious violations of discipline and laws by Lin Jingzhen, former member of the Party Committee and Vice President of China Bank Limited. After investigation, it was found that Lin Jingzhen had lost his ideal and belief, betrayed his original mission, privately kept, read, and mailed books with serious political issues; ignored the spirit of the eight-point regulations of the Central Committee, accepted gifts in violation of regulations, accepted invitations and travel arrangements that may affect the fair execution of official duties, accepted travel arrangements provided by others, entered and exited private clubs in violation of regulations; failed to report personal matters according to regulations, sought benefits and received money in employment-related work for others; lost his integrity, illegally owned stock in non-listed companies, had others pay expenses that should have been paid by himself; completely crossed the moral and legal bottom line, turning credit power into a tool to seek personal gain, engaging in power-for-money transactions, using his position to profit from loans and financing for others, and illegally accepting large amounts of money. Lin Jingzhen seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, and integrity discipline, constituting a serious breach of duty and suspected bribery crime. His behavior has been severe and detrimental since the 18th National Congress of the Party, and he should be dealt with severely. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Administrative Sanctions Law for Public Officials of the People's Republic of China," and other laws and regulations, it was decided by the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to expel Lin Jingzhen from the Party; cancel the benefits enjoyed by him as stipulated; confiscate his illegal gains; and transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution in accordance with the law, along with all related assets.
