On February 6th, the Haikou Transportation and Port Authority issued a notice of suspension of sailings: due to the heavy fog in the Qiongzhou Strait, sailings at Haikou Xiuying Port, New Harbor, and the Railway Nan Port have been suspended. All vehicles are unable to cross the sea. Cars leaving the island are advised not to go to the port, and drivers and passengers are recommended to rest and wait in the city. It is expected that the sailing will resume around 9 a.m. on February 6th, and the specific resumption time will be announced through the "Haikou Release", "Qiongzhou Strait Ferry Manager", "Railway Ferry" and other official WeChat accounts and various media outlets.
