The statistics released by Changi Airport in Singapore recently show that the airport's passenger throughput is expected to reach a record high of 69.98 million people in 2025, an increase of approximately 3.4% from 67.7 million in 2024, surpassing the pre-COVID-19 record. Changi Airport Group stated that the passenger throughput in 2025 reflects a significant rebound in air travel demand and the expansion of route networks. In the main passenger markets, China ranked first with a growth rate of 12.2%, followed by Indonesia and Malaysia in second and third place respectively, indicating Changi Airport's dominant position in passenger traffic in the Southeast Asian region. In addition, the passenger traffic from other countries such as Australia, India, and Thailand also ranks high, showing that the entire Asia-Pacific region is driving the growth in passenger demand at Changi Airport.
