Zheng Zehui has been appointed as the Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen and the Director of the Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau.

On February 5th, the 44th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Seventh Shenzhen People's Congress was held, and a series of personnel appointments were voted and approved at the meeting. The meeting decided to appoint Comrade Zheng Zehui as the Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen and the Director of the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau. It also accepted the resignation of Comrades Gao Zimin and Pei Lei as Vice Chairpersons of the Seventh Shenzhen People's Congress Standing Committee. The decision was made to remove Comrade Zhao Yong from the position of Director of the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau. Comrade Xie Daowu's resignation as a member of the Seventh Shenzhen People's Congress Standing Committee was also accepted. (Shenzhen News)
