Financial support for the construction of the Western Land-Sea New Channel work meeting held in Chongqing.

According to Chongqing Daily, on the morning of February 5th, a conference on financial support for the construction of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor was held in Chongqing. Yuan Jiajun, Secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Pan Gongsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the People's Bank of China, also spoke at the meeting, while Hu Henghua, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Committee and Mayor, presided over the meeting. Pan Gongsheng stated that it is an important responsibility of the People's Bank of China and the financial system to do well in supporting the construction of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor. The People's Bank of China will continue to support the accelerated construction of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor, strengthen cooperation with the provinces along the corridor, support the continuous construction and development of financial services and infrastructure of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor centered on Chongqing, promote interconnection and integration of financial elements, enrich the development of financial services and product systems, enhance the precision and effectiveness of financial support, coordinate high-level financial opening and security, improve the level of cross-border trade settlement and investment facilitation along the corridor, optimize cross-border financial services, and better serve the construction of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor and the high-quality development of the western region.
