The National Development and Reform Commission issued a notice on the work of ensuring the supply and stable prices of fertilizers for spring farming in 2026. It is proposed that the development and reform commissions at all levels should actively cooperate with the competent authorities for industry and information technology to ensure the production of fertilizers, coordinate the supply of raw materials for fertilizer production, urge relevant enterprises to implement the minimum production plan as required, especially to ensure the production of fertilizers for winter storage and spring farming, and submit production reports as required; coordinate with the ecological environment departments to allow Class A and B fertilizer production enterprises to voluntarily reduce emissions during emergency response to heavy pollution weather; promote stable production of phosphate rock and maintain a reasonable price level; support related phosphate fertilizer production enterprises to accelerate the construction of phosphogypsum acid production projects. Encourage domestic sulfur to be directly supplied to domestic phosphate fertilizer production enterprises first; actively supply domestic phosphate fertilizer to the domestic market, especially strengthening production and supply during the spring farming period. The Sulfuric Acid Association and the Phosphate Compound Fertilizer Association jointly organize the production and sales connection of sulfuric acid and phosphate fertilizer production enterprises to stabilize the upstream and downstream purchase and sale relationships.
