By 2025, the fair competition market environment will continue to improve, with 14,600 cases of various types of anti-unfair competition cases being investigated.
At the press conference held by the State Council Information Office today, the State Administration for Market Regulation introduced that fair competition is the basic principle of a market economy and is an objective requirement for building a unified national market. By 2025, inspections and spot checks on fair competition will be organized to urge relevant policy-making authorities to rectify policies and measures that hinder the unified market and fair competition; to investigate and handle a series of monopoly cases in the pharmaceutical field, and promote significant price reductions of the drugs involved; to investigate and handle 14,600 cases of various types of unfair competition. Comprehensive rectification of "overlapping" competition will be carried out, with strengthened cost investigations, price inspections, and guidance talks with key enterprises to effectively cool down "price wars" and "subsidy wars" in a timely manner.
