The first shield machine of the third phase of the Shandong Haiyang nuclear power project successfully went offline.
On the 4th, it was learned from China Railway 18th Bureau Group that the first shield machine "Sea Nuclear No. 1" of Shandong Haiyang Nuclear Power Phase III Project has successfully come offline and will be used for the construction of the tunnel for circulating water drainage project in the future. The plan for Shandong Haiyang Nuclear Power Project is to build 6 million-kilowatt nuclear power units. The Phase III project, which is undertaken by China Railway 18th Bureau, includes 2 siphon wells, 2 tunnels, and 16 vertical lifting drainage pipes. The "Sea Nuclear No.1" shield machine that came offline this time has a maximum excavation diameter of 7.29 meters, a total length of 126 meters, and is responsible for the excavation task of the tunnel for Unit 5 of the circulating water drainage project.
