American Prudential Financial Group's Prudential Life Insurance Company of Japan announced on February 4 that it will suspend sales activities for 90 days starting on the 9th. Prior to this, the company was exposed to having hundreds of current and former employees suspected of fraudulently collecting large sums of money from customers.
