Huang Renxun is constantly busy worldwide and has recently given a speech, saying that AI will reshape global factories.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang's recent schedule has been very busy. On January 21st local time, Huang spoke at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland about the three major advancements in AI models over the past year. He then began a visit to China, appearing in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Taiwan. On February 3rd local time, Huang also appeared at an event hosted by industrial software company Dassault Systmes in Houston, USA, where he spoke about industrial AI. "In the past, we spent 1/3 of our time on design and digitalization, and perhaps 2/3 of our time on building physical forms. In the future, it is very likely that we will spend 100% of our time on digitalization. Even after completing design, simulation, and verification, software integration must still be done," Huang said. He noted that whether it's design, illustration, simulation, or operation, the future will be defined by software, from a pair of tennis shoes to everything else. Cars are software-defined, and factories where robots operate are also software-defined.
