The Greek stock market reached a new closing high since 2009.

The Athens Stock Exchange Composite Index rose by 1.00% to 2370.13 points, approaching the closing level of 2383.62 points on December 4, 2009, the closing level of 2701.42 points on November 6 of that year, and the closing level of 2896.91 points on October 14 of that year.
