Denmark plans to build five military ships capable of operating in the Arctic.

The Danish Ministry of Defense said on the 2nd that it plans to build five military ships capable of operating in Arctic conditions. The Ministry of Defense statement said that the components of these military ships will be produced in factories across the country and assembled at a state-owned shipyard in Frederikshavn in northern Denmark. This will help Denmark strengthen its defense capabilities. The statement also said that the shipyard in Frederikshavn will be upgraded and may in the future build larger vessels than these five military ships.
