The S&P 500 index closed up 0.5% initially, with daily consumer goods, industrial, and financial sectors up by approximately 1%, the technology sector up by 0.4%, and the real estate, utilities, and energy sectors down by up to 1.9%. The Nasdaq 100 index closed up 0.7% initially, the Dow rose by 525 points, an increase of 1.1%, the semiconductor index, biotechnology index, and bank index all rose by over 1%, and small-cap stocks also rose by approximately 1%.
