Chicago wheat futures fell by more than 1.9%, while New York cocoa rose by more than 1.2%.
On Monday, the Bloomberg Grains Subindex fell 0.89% at the closing bell in New York, to 28.9954 points. CBOT corn futures dropped 0.64%, CBOT wheat futures fell 1.95%. CBOT soybean futures fell 0.38% to $10.60 per bushel, while soybean meal futures rose 0.34% and soybean oil futures fell 0.50%. Lean hog futures on CBOT rose 1.55%, live cattle futures rose 1.12%, and feeder cattle futures rose 1.63%. ICE raw sugar futures fell 0.07%, ICE white sugar futures fell 0.02%. ICE Arabica coffee futures rose 0.90%, coffee "C" futures rose 1.02%. Robusta coffee futures fell 2.26%. New York cocoa futures rose 1.25% to $4217 per ton, rebounding from the January 30 bottom of $3931. London cocoa futures rose 3.19%. Chicago WCE canola seed futures fell 0.40%. ICE cotton futures fell 0.59%.
