Veon Corporation: Start of production for 250,000 tons/year electrolyte solvent project.

Weiyuan Corporation announced on February 2nd that the company's 250,000 tons/year electrolyte solvent project has recently completed all processes and successfully produced qualified products. The commissioning of this project will increase the company's production capacity of electronic-grade propylene carbonate, dimethyl carbonate, ethyl methyl carbonate, and diethyl carbonate, while also producing glycol, food-grade carbon dioxide, and other products as by-products.
